Tree of Life Center

Since 1999, Tree of Life Center has offered comprehensive training programs and classes based on Dr. Randolf Stone's synthesis of 'Life Healing' principles to align and support physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wholeness. Located in the Triangle area of North Carolina, outside of Hillsborough, North Carolina, our diverse and highly experiential trainings take place in a variety of locations, surrounded by nature so that the elemental world outside can be easily woven into our teachings.

We offer a variety of classes & trainings:

• Wellness Education Self-care classes to the general public such as Gentle Energy Yoga,            T'ai Chi & Chi Gong, & Meditation.

• Somatic Energy Healing programs incorporate the various Polarity Therapy training levels within them.

• APTA-approved Associate in Polarity Principles (APP) Educational Level Training- 155 hrs.; 

• APTA-approved Registered in Polarity Principles (RPP) Educational Level Training- 520 hrs.;

• 125 hrs. of Clinical Supervision & Advanced Classes toward Board Certified Polarity Practitioner (BCPP) requirements  -  Students are eligible to sit for the BCPP exam to become a Board Certified Polarity Practitioner after completing APP & RPP Educational Levels and completing 125 hours of Clinical Supervision/Advanced Classes.

• NCBTMB Continuing Education CE Classes for Massage & Bodywork Therapists for State License renewal and National Certification.        

                                                                 

Tree of Life Center is an American Polarity Therapy Association (APTA) approved training program and a recognized school with the International Polarity Education Alliance (IPEA).

 

Founder, Director, and lead training facilitator, Janice Marie Durand brings over 30 years of transformational somatic processing and energy healing to her teaching. She is a Board Certified Polarity Practitioner (BCPP), IPEA Polarity Therapy Professional (PTP), APTA Registered Polarity Educator (RPE), ABMP Certified Somatic Therapist, and North Carolina Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist.

Students taking our classes include members of the general public interested in their own personal growth; professionals such as massage therapists, nurses, social workers, and psychotherapists who want to integrate this healing approach into their already existing profession; individuals who want to train to become a Board Certified Polarity Practitioner who are not currently licensed in another healing discipline.
